Michael Waters teaches at Salisbury University in Maryland and
in the New England College MFA Program. His recent books include
Darling Vulgarity (2006) and Parthenopi: New and Selected Poems
(2001) from BOA Editions, as well as the new edition of Contemporary
American Poetry (2006) from Houghton Mifflin. His poems have
appeared in Poetry, The American Poetry Review, The Yale Review, The
Kenyon Review, The Georgia Review, The Gettysburg Review, The Southern
Review, and Rolling Stone, and have been included in three Pushcart
Prize anthologies. The recipient of a creative writing fellowship from
the NEA, Waters is Fulbright Lecturer in American Literature in Romania
in spring 2007.
